Welcome to a special episode of Two Old Guys Drinking Beer!

This week, we forego the usual political, beer and baseball talk and concentrate on an organization here in the local area where Two Old Guys Drinking Beer! is produced. Pathfinders, is a non-profit organization that works with the local Drug Court in Tarrant County, Texas to provide mentoring support for inmates incarcerated for drug offenses. The organization works with male and female inmates both while they are incarcerated and upon their release. The work Pathfinders does is extremely important in our neighborhood in that it helps support those coming out of the Intensive Drug Treatment programs as they move on with their recovery and attempt to get back into a life focused on their families, their schooling and their jobs.

With us for the interview is Sydney Friedrichs, a mentoring coordinator who works with the people who are engaged in the IDT program within Tarrant County. Sydney is a remarkable young woman doing terrific work and Pathfinders is a remarkable organization worthy of looking into. Please give the interview a listen, and check out Pathfinders on the web at www.pathfinderstc.org.

Thanks and we hope you enjoy the interview.
