Today's show was a little odd as Tony and I started with the intent of going through the usual news of the day and the day before, but we ended up talking about the state of the gig economy and how we're effected by it. Both working menial jobs and trying to make ends meet.

With Tony working a kitchen and Zombeck writing articles, at times for free. The fact that the UK editor for Huffington Post, Stephen Hull, piped up recently about not paying bloggers didn't help much either. Here's what he had to say when asked about not paying writers:

"If I was paying someone to write something because I want it to get advertising, that’s not a real authentic way of presenting copy. When somebody writes something for us, we know it’s real, we know they want to write it. It’s not been forced or paid for. I think that’s something to be proud of.”

Good stuff, right? Unless you're the poor idiot doing the writing.

So, we decided to get a little better about begging for money and promoting ourselves, which is unfortunately not something we're good at.

The conversation then went quickly to Trump and that's when Tony had some technical difficulties and we had to cut the show a little short. We cleaned it up the best we could in post, so enjoy the hell out of out and enjoy the two cartoons below.
