There are subjects we simply don't talk enough about in Caribbean households. The struggling mother/daughter relationship that plagues our family systems is one of them.
This episode is the first of it's kind. It's Un-LoC'D's first solo episode. No guests. No interviews. Just a raw first hand account of our host, Audrey Augustave's person experience in healing her mother wounds. Here, Audrey details a 5 step process that she went through to heal her unresolved anger towards her mother, allowing her to achieve the forgiveness needed to set her free from her resentments and projections.
Additionally, Audrey draws on her personal experience going to therapy to detail the value of reaching out for help.
If you are an adult woman of Caribbean descent who has been stuck in a cycle of conflict with your mother, this episode is for you!
