World Refugee Day is observed annually on the 20th of June to honour the refugees around the globe, with the overall goal to celebrate the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. World Refugee Day is an occasion to build empathy and understanding for their plight and to recognise their resilience in rebuilding their lives.

In this episode, UNAM Youth will delve into "The Doubly Vulnerable State of Refugee Women & Children Towards Sexual Violence" with the moderator, Ellya Zaireen Binti Zain Shahrer, Director of External Affairs, from Women For Refugees and our guest speaker, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Refuge for the Refugees, Heidy Quah.
