Today's WOD inspired by by the crew at CFE.

It just happens they programeda piece that had couple drills that I've wanting to put into my regular work

Those are box jumps (which we safely modified) to squat jumps for height.

and

double kettlebell push-press

These are two super accessiblehigh value drills that drawin a lot skill and musculaturewithout being too over the top complex.

In the next week or so youare also going to see push-presspop again in an even more athletic WOD.

The reason I want these two drills in my progam are as follows.

I'm shoot to complete the beast tamer challenge thisyear and since we are nowpretty much out of the rootcellar for the year we can do more overhead work.

With this especially if you are trying to press heavieryou'll have gaps in the 'kettlebelljumps' so the push-press becomes a valuable tool

Like for example, when I go from 32kg to 36kg dependingon reps might need to usethe push press some.

With squat jumps I justwanted to get in to adding some more athletic drillsthat carry a bigger powercomponent too.

Hint, hint: there will besome more of his in the VERY near future.

Until then hopefully youcan get off the ground at least high enough to get a credit card betweenyour feet and the ground

I call this WOD Credit Card
