Economic progress has brought with it a shift to more progressive values, and this has sparked unprecedented political change. The former is a former Irish Ambassador to the UK and US, and author of Ulysses: A Reader’s Odyssey (2022), out this year. The latter is Dublin Correspondent for the Financial Times.
