ArchCity Defenders and Action St. Louis present the premiere collaborative podcast, "Under The Arch." Your hosts Blake Strode, Executive Director of ArchCity Defenders, and Kayla Reed, Director of Action St. Louis, explore the issues facing our community and the people working to transform them.
On November 8-9, 2019, ArchCity Defenders commemorated 10 years of service and action with the St. Louis community during a weekend-long celebration. Our first event was a Friday night "birthday party" at Stifel Theatre, which featured a live podcast taping with celebrity guest actor, film director, and activist Danny Glover. In the live interview, Mr. Glover shared stories about how his family and history shaped his values and convictions, leading to a life of activism committed to several humanitarian causes. Our co-hosts and Mr. Glover round out the conversation talking about the ongoing struggle for justice in the present and future.
