This week’s hidden gem of Iowa City is Adetayo Oladele Ajose, but she is better known throughout campus as Tayo. Tayo is a University of Iowa senior majoring in bio-medical engineering with a pre-medical intent and a Spanish minor and what you probably do not know about Tayo is that she started college when she was only fifteen years old. During her freshmen and sophomore years of college, Tayo was a member of the University of Iowa Track and Field team and at the time she was the youngest Big 10 athlete. Tayo has a passion for helping others which she showcases through student government, On Iowa!, Dance Marathon, and many other activities. One of her accomplishments includes helping start a food pantry for students at the IMU. Enjoy meeting Tayo because she is someone that you need to know.
