This hands-on workshop will help public officials and private developers who need to fund and finance sidewalks, drainage, pedestrian bridges, parking, public space, and other TOD infrastructure. In our region TODs are hampered by the lack of infrastructure linking transit to compact, walkable communities. The program presents four national experts and practitioners, including new research funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Smart Growth Implementation Assistance (SGIA) program. SGIA has evaluated dozens of funding and finance techniques, along with case studies.
