Millo is a quiet guy trying his best to fly completely under the radar, silently going about his business without accidentally stepping into any spotlight along the way. Unfortunately for him, the business he ‘goes about’ is far from under the radar. As one of the most prolific mural painters on the planet, and specializing in big walls… i mean REALLY big walls, Millo’s imagery is some of the most recognizable in the entire scene. The Italian painter, aided by his “take no bullshit” partner, travels from project to project focusing almost exclusively on mural painting rather than juggling studio work or commercial work like most others in the game. The calm and gentle nature of his murals, with their simplified mostly black and white color palette and playful giants seemingly unaware and unconcerned about their gross disproportion to the worlds they inhabit, speak volumes to the nature of the artist himself and it was an absolute honor to get this rare interview with him on VantagePoint.
