Vegas OBSERVATIONS

There is no Sunday talk show like OBSERVATIONS in Las Vegas. Hall of Fame Broadcaster Bob Fisher asks the tough questions with a diverse panel of in-studio guests each week.

Today’s program covered four different topics:

THE IMPLICATION AND IMPACT OF IGNORING GLOBAL WARMING:
Ron Mader is a professional speaker, communication coach and brave journalist. Ron’s work catalyzes meaningful conversation and action about environment conservation and tourism. Professionally, his focus is on ecotourism and responsible travel.

GLOBAL WARMING: HERE ARE THE FACTS
Paul J. Kreuger is a retired Project Controls Manager involved with major construction project around the country and around the world. He goes with the facts and strongly disagrees with Mr. Mader’s position. Mr. Kreuger is also a leader with the Las Vegas Rotary Club, who places “Service Before Self”.

EDUCATE THE PUBLIC: DEATH AND DYING
Mike Ficke has almost two decades working in the mortuary industry. His goal is to demystify funerals and to answer the most often asked questions —
beginning with why funerals are so expensive. When it comes to death and dying, why is Las Vegas different from all other major cities.

VEGAS AS THE CONVENTION CAPITAL OF THE WORLD: CINEMA CON
Jeffrey K. Howard is the dean of Las Vegas film critics and is the founder of the Las Vegas Film Critics Society. He recently attended the annual Cinema Con Convention held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. He answers the question as to what is there about Las Vegas that attracts so many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
