Veckans Vetenskapsradion Forum besöker platsen där traditionen att tända adventsljus en gång tog sin början.
I en ny omgång program om folkloristik och folklivsforskning kommer folkloristen Tora Wall att svara på frågor om allt från julkalenderns historia till den farliga lussenatten. Veckans program sänds från Ersta kyrka i Stockholm där man under 1800-talet startade en tradition med att tända ljus i en adventsgran, en föregångare till adventsljusstakarna som vi sätter fram nu på söndag. Tora Wall berättar också om hur det gick till när den sjuarmade elektriska ljusstaken slog igenom, och hur föregångarna till våra dagars adventsstjärnor såg ut.
