In episode 114 I talked about how to survive a bad board. Well that opened the floodgates and I've been hearing about aaaaaaaall sorts of bad board member behavior. Rather than sit and be mad about it, I wanted to give you some things to consider and maybe even a couple of action items you can use to help you get back on mission.

The top 3 reasons why board members go rogue (in my experience) are:

  1. Expectations weren't made clear
  2. They were recruited poorly
  3. One of you is overstepping trying to be helpful

Listen on for my top 3 ways to deal with this.

I mention in this episode that I am offering a limited number of coaching slots for my 13-week program to help leaders in transition or leaders who are stuck. If you are new in your position, if your organization is going through big changes, or if you know what you want to make happen but can't figure out how, email me to learn more about how executive coaching could help.
