With the rise of cloud-native architectures built on containers distributed microservices, developers are encountering challenges with visibility, management, and control of these new applications. The Service Mesh concept was created to address and overcome these challenges. On the 15th episode of the Virtual Stack Podcast, I’m joined by Mark Schweighardt, Director of Product Marketing in the Network & Security Business Unit (NSBU) of VMware. Together with Mike, we discuss about the Service Mesh concept, cloud-native applications, Istio/Envoy, and VMware’s upcoming Service Mesh solution, VMware NSX Service Mesh. You can reach out to Mark via LinkedIn. Hope you enjoy the show. Feel free to share your feedback via Twitter (@egirici), LinkedIn or virtualstack.tech. Show notes
