Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. There is no school Monday and Tuesday is a regular day. Hola comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios. No hay clases los lunes y el martes es un día regular.

This is National Suicide Prevention Month and National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Please note that students who are interested in playing a sport, should get a physical and complete online sports packets. You may also contact coaches for updates. Their contact info, as well as the sports packet, may be found at www.legacytigers.com Physicals may be turned in to the VAPA office on Mondays until November 1. At this time, sports are scheduled to resume with practices on December 14, should we be allowed to return to school by then.

This week our Zone of Choice Enrollment drive begins in earnest as the application window opens on October 1. We have several recruitment events planned over the coming weeks. Please get the word out. Our goal for 2021-22 is 500 students.

This week we have our School Site Council Elections after the Orientation on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 3:30 pm. Please see our website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds for more the Zoom login info. We need students, parents, and staffmembers.

We will have a 10th Grade Town Hall during Advisory on Tuesday. Students should check in with their advisory teacher first and then go toe the Town Hall where attendance will be taken.

On October 5 we will have our annual Aloha Assembly as a School-wide Town Hall dur9ng Advisory at 1 pm. At the Aloha Assembly, students will find out about clubs at VAPA and the afterschool program.
