Chuck and Stacey welcome the prolific Emmy and Annie award winner, Randy Rogel to the show. He is the brilliant writer, singer/songwriter, producer, actor and pianist known for his creative genius in iconic shows like Animaniacs, Batman: The Animated Series, and who is now appearing onstage in Animaniacs Live with Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille and Jess Harnell in performances around the country. If you haven't ha a chance to go see the Animaniacs Live you really need to, it's awesome.
Chuck and Stacey gush about having just seen the Animaniacs Live Show earlier this year in La Mirada, CA and Randy shares some highlights of doing the shows in front of an audience of fans from different generations. He tells some cool stories from working at Warner Brothers with Steven Spielberg, Tom Ruegger, and Jean MacCurdy on the beloved animated series, Animaniacs.
Randy sings the praises of the incredible voice actor, Billy West and also what inspired him to write songs like Yakko’s World. He talks about growing up singing and acting, graduating from the prestigious West Point Military Academy and the moment he realized he wanted to pursue his creative aspirations in film and television in Los Angeles. He candidly shares his challenging early years in LA as a writer and how one fateful meeting with a top Hollywood agent changed his course in life forever. Randy talks about the big break he got from Alan Burnett writing for television in Batman: The Animated Series and how he found his way to writing comedy and songs for Animaniacs made famous by Wakko, Yakko and Dot.
