Some straight-forward tactics for working on your mental strength which in turn will help battle anxiety and stress in everyday things.

Accept your thoughts

Accept them for what they are. Don’t try to suppress them, they won’t just go away. You need to explore them - even if they are insane or silly or scary.

Build Your Gratitude

Try to think about 2-3 things you are grateful for, or for someone you’re grateful for. It will help center you and keep you focused on what matters.

Keep Your Perspective

If you are anxious or stressing about something. Try to reduce it to either it’s most simple form or out to its most ridiculous extreme. Most of the time we are telling ourselves a story or creating a narrative that isn’t real.

Put Your Mind At Peace

Build a plan. When something is stressing you out or is a real problem you need to solve. Create a plan of attack; What result do I want? How long do I have? How do I get from point a to point b. What is the first, second and third step.

  3. Nip Bad Behavior in the Bud
  4. Be Honest
  5. Think in Terms of Respect
  6. Stand Up for Yourself
  7. “Interrupt” People / Get Involved
  8. Say "No" Way More Often Than You Say "Yes"
  9. Put Yourself First (in a Good Way)
  10. Realize That It’s Ok to Be Competitive
