This very loose retelling of The Odyssey/Ulysses is both fun and infuriating, seeing as we strongly doubt Xena's ability to be any man's "little wife". We wonder: can the siren scene be read as slightly queer? Should it be more queer? We also touch on the series as a feminist nod to women's importance throughout history, Tori Amos, and um, puffins. We also remembered that there is a literary work called The Odyssey but kinda forgot about James Joyces' Ulysses, so....forgive us.
