After twenty years in the Army as a Military Intelligence Officer she traded in her uniform and worldly possessions to pursue the dream that had inspired her to keep going through the long separations of military deployments.

They “pay back” by performing volunteer disaster response and humanitarian work for the American Red Cross, serving as members of an International Emergency Response Unit.
