Today I'm chatting with Melissa Henig, author of Raw Paleo. Melissa is a health and lifestyle coach who whole heartedly believes in the healing power of whole raw foods and herbs. She works with food as medicine. She's a food educator, teaches raw paleo classes, creates and sells clean hand crafted products, and coach folks virtually. She's into all things wild, natural, nature connection, and conscious parenting.

In this episode, Melissa discusses why she switched from a raw vegan diet to a raw paleo diet, and the health benefits of eating raw paleo. We discuss where to source your meat from, what to eat and what to avoid on the raw diet, the benefits of raw dairy, why so many people are afraid to eat raw, and why some people eat rotten meat. We also talk about parasites, the spiritual side of killing your own food, what happens when you cook or freeze your food, the root cause of most women's digestive issues, learning about herbs as medicine, and much more.
