Sam and I met a few months ago, when I walked into his shop to see if they carried CBD products. To my surprise he was one of the only shops during my 2 day hunt that did. From there we stayed in contact as we discussed the Medical Cannabis Act and our states new hemp laws. All the while we both continued to look for higher quality CBD products. Once I found out more about Chris Yeager and ACC, Sam was the first to ask about getting the products on the shelf.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”
— Martin Luther King, Jr.
I didn't exactly "stick the landing" when I tried to use this quote at the end of the podcast, so I owed Dr. King a chance to speak for himself.

However, this podcast is as much about civil rights and government restriction as anything else. Many don't know about the challenges the vape industry, but upcoming laws could effectively push small to medium businesses out of business. As we've said before, "our" issue doesn't have to be "your" issue but by working together we can all protect each other. The vape industry concerns have numerous similarities to the current cannabis industry as well as the industry forming in West Virginia. Sam has an affinity for CBD and was an early adopter as far as retail locations go, but much like WVGITNB he sees the future economic boost and substantial patient benefits the hemp/CBD industry can provide West Virginia and the rest of Appalachia.
