The wait is over. After 12 years of having all transmissions offline, Star Trek is back on TV, for one glorious night. This time the show is going where no black woman has gone before with the casting of The Walking Dead’s Sonequa Martin-Green as first officer Michael Burnham who causes all hell to break loose.
Please welcome the crew of this podcast which takes a look at the newest Star Trek series Discovery.
I’m the show’s captain Fausto Fernos and I follow whatever directive I feel like following- Prime or otherwise.
My Number One is first commander Marc Felion who can’t wait to sit in the captain’s chair but is he ready for it?
Also joining us is science officer Brian Sweeney who has a microprocessor in his head that contains everything nerd.
And the black woman of the crew is comedian Colette Gregory who is new to the Star Trek universe but her mom did go to high school with Avery Brooks who played Captain Sisko on Deep Space Nine.
