The year's practically almost over, Should-heads. We may not have done very well on our October reading, but we're hoping to finish the year strong. Also? The last two months are full of amazing book releases. (We would also do a joint recommendation for Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult, releasing at the end of November.)

Currently reading:

Julia: So Many Beginnings (Bethany C. Morrow), Always, in December (Emily Stone) and Graceling (Kristin Cashore)
Kelly: Bad Girls Never Say Die (Jennifer Mathieu)
Rachael: Tara Road (Maeve Binchy), Girlie Drinks (Mallory O'Meara) and The Barefoot Sisters (Lucy Letcher and Susan Letcher)

Book News: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/education/2021/10/26/school-districts-under-investigation-by-texas-house-over-books-curriculum/

Recent acquisitions:

Julia: none
Kelly: The Orphan Collector (Ellen Marie Wiseman) and Monsters, Makeup and Effects (Heather Wixson)
Rachael: The Memoirs of Stockholm Sven (Nathaniel Ian Miller)

Most Anticipated:

Julia: Will (Will Smith), Noor (Nnedi Okorafor), Sex Cult Nun (Faith Jones), Beasts of a Little Land (Juhea Kim) and The Big Reveal (Jen Larsen)

Kelly: Into the Bloodred Woods (Martha Brockenbrough), The Collective (Allison Gaylin), The Surrogate (Toni Halleen), Murder Book (Hilary Fitzgerald Campbell) and Spin Me Right Round (David Valdes)

Rachael: Just Haven't Met You Yet (Sophie Cousens), Graceling: The Graphic Novel (Kristin Cashore and Gareth Hinds) The Sentence (Louise Erdrich), Pride, Prejudice and Peril (Katie Oliver) and Daughter of the Sea (Elisabeth Hobbes)
