"What's Goin Down In Downtown J-Town" is recorded at 3rd City Sound located in Downtown Joliet on the third floor above the place that did so much to cultivate this great music scene, Chicago Street Pub. Or as I like to call it, The Chi'er. I am your host Tom Maslowski. Along with me, whether stoic or animated, David Francis engineering and co-hosting out of his mind.
In each of our episodes you can count on two songs with an interview in between from each artist or band. Though our shows are pre-recorded, we release them as live shows. We just mean that we captured the moments as they happened. There is no editing or pitch correcting done. Dave gives everything a good solid mix as to sooth your ears, but that's the extent of it.
Jross is an extremely charismatic artist and songwriter. He uses a blend of all the most exciting forms of rock and punk. He is a staple in our music scene. Jross Green is know for always bringing out a new tune or two with his trademark intensity. I had a great time chating with him at 3rd City Sound above our favorite venue, Chicago Street Pub in Downtown Joliet. Enjoy episode four, and stay in the know, yo!
