When I first learned about Ashlee Piper and her book through a mutual friend, I was immediately smitten. A style-savvy, cruelty-free, snarky, smart-as-hell woman helping us all figure out how the hell to ACTUALLY live more sustainably? SIGN ME THE F UP.

Okay, the interview itself was super fun and informative, so just trust me and listen— and now Imma tell you about Ashlee's book because I'm a #FANGIRL.

At first, I bought the Kindle version of Ashlee's book, Give a Sh*t: Do Good. Live Better. Save the Planet. (and listened to some of the audiobook on a trip— thanks Nashville Public Library!)— but after realizing that A) this was a book I'd be continuing to reference for YEARS to come, and B) SO much thought went into making it a sustainably printed book— 100% recycled paper, nontoxic vegetable-based inks and printed in North America at a hydropowered printing facility— I knew I wanted the print version.

And y'all, the printed book is BEAUTIFUL, on top of being pull-off-the-shelf-every-week useful. I am seriously in awe of depth of research and work Ashlee went into for this book... it is incredibly thorough in every way— like her instructions on the best way to reuse or dispose of any scraps or materials used in every recipe.

Buy yourself a copy as a holiday gift to the earth, and you should proooobably also get a copy for any millennial on your gift-shopping list, duh.
