One of my recurring nightmares is to be stuck in a room with a person whom I can’t understand. We try to communicate, but his voice keeps coming out as a disjointed series of shrieks that I am unable to understand… The Cybermen are a little bit like that. I just can’t understand them either. And I don’t mean that as in understanding their motivation or their raison d’être or anything like that – no; I mean the actual words coming out of their … face-box-thing.

Still, though. The Doctor is mellowing out, Peri is less annoying and we get to see some amazingly brutal scenes involving the Cybermen. So it’s not all bad.
