Merlot should be on your radar as a PERFECT winter wine. Let me give you a SNAPSHOT of Merlot from my eyes. Merlot’s bitch slap from Sideways only prodded winemakers to improve its quality. This made so-so Merlots a heck a of a lot better, and good Merlots spiral into the realm of fabulous!
