Be a Person of Purpose and Vision So often we muddle through life without a purpose or vision. We are on a treadmill of life where the scenery never changes, and we really don’t make any advancement. We are stuck in one place going through the same motions as if we were robots with little artificial or real intelligence. We become slaves of the ordinary. This should not be. We have an abundance of God-given abilities and talents, and yet we choose not to utilize them. We would rather wallow in mediocrity that is comfortable than excel in the challenges that require effort. Break free of the shackles that bind you. Be daring, different, even impractical at times. Move forward faster and father than you feel that you can, but always with the integrity of purpose and imaginative vision. The Apostle Peter puts it this way in 1 Peter 2:9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. That’s a wrap for today’s Wisdom Unplugged quote.
