On this week’s episode of The Horse Show, which is brought to you by Equestrian Collections, Chris Stafford caught up with British eventer Lissa Green who is preparing for her second four star this year as she heads to the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials at the end of this month. Lissa withdrew before the show jumping phase at Badminton Horse Trials this spring to save her partner Malin Head Clover (Ali G) for another day, and not least of all because she was extremely ill during the event. Lissa is of course the daughter of David & Lucinda Green who have both competed at Burghley, but Lissa, who describes herself as born to ride and bred to event, has her own point to prove.
