[Jaime Carrasco](http://soundcloud.com/bluecaixa70) is a local drummer who has been an important member of the Winnipeg music scene dating back to the '90s. I first became aware of Jaime because of his work with [the Keith Price Double Quartet](http://witchpolice.podiant.co/e/3544210612b466L/) – whose album was my favourite local release of 2017. Carrasco's music, however, expands well beyond the jazz realm, as his current gig with the Leftists demonstrates (haha). We talk about all of it and more! This episode is brought to you by our friends at [the Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/) and by [Demedash Effects](http://www.demedasheffects.com/), a local company that makes hand-made guitar effect pedals like the glorious T-120 Videotape Echo. Thanks to everyone who has supported the podcast thus far. Thanks to supporters like you, we can keep churning out interviews twice a week! If you like the show, please head down to [patreon.com/witchpolice](http://patreon.com/witchpolice) and for as little as a $1 month (less than 12 cents an episode), you can help keep the lights on!
