We talk everything from his work with the You Can Play Project (7:56), training regiments (12:45), and what it takes to have the mindset of a professional athlete (17:14). We then turn to the challenges of competing as a trans athlete (20:12), high suicide rates amongst trans and gender nonconforming people (26:45), white privilege (31:40), and appropriate and inappropriate questions to ask a trans or gender nonconforming person, whether you are a journalist or friend (39:55).
