Topic: Why it is important for women to put their health first Elena Upton, Ph.D. shares: -How she got started -Why it is important to understand your health choices -How to stay at the top of your game As a wife and mother I was frustrated by the choices available to me for my own health care and that of my family. When I discovered Homeopathy in 1988 I knew I had found a better way. Going back to college when I had the responsibility of a family was not easy, but I knew it would be worth it. Within a relatively short period of time I found answers to my health issues, that of my sons, and also my husband. It was like opening a magical toolbox and I wanted everyone to know this toolbox existed. With the support of my family I was able to spend more than a decade studying not only Homeopathy, but German Biological Medicine, and more. Opening a clinic gave me the experience of understanding the power of what I had learned. Now I have curated my knowledge and experience into an on-going eBook series, as well as the print books THE ALTERNATIVE, Your Family's Guide to Wellness; Volumes I & II. (Volume II Spring 2019.) We are empowered when we transition to self-directed health and wellness for ourselves and our loved ones. Elena Upton, Ph.D., is a classically-trained Homeopath and has studied and practiced within the natural health field for nearly thirty years. Her expertise in the utilization of modern approaches to classic Homeopathic methods stems from intensive training and collaboration with prominent holistic medical doctors and specialists from around the world. Elena first incorporated her knowledge into a clinic 'The Holistic Resource Center' that attracted many types of clients, with an emphasis on those suffering from environmental allergies. Now Elena has curated her years of experience into her first book, THE ALTERNATIVE, Your family's Guide to Wellness, as well as an eBook series. http://elenaupton.com/ https://www.facebook.com/HomeopathyWithElenaUpton/?modal=admin_todo_tour *Information and opinions stated during this podcast should not be construed as a substitute for medical advice from your medical professional.
