Welcome back dear listeners to World Forge! This week we reached out to our twitter following to get some examples of interesting dreams, both real and imagined, to demonstrate their potential for inspiring adventures and stories. We take a few examples of our favorite listener shared dreams and use them to kickstart this weeks creations, we also talk about all of the different ways dreams can be used in our roleplaying games! Our exploration covers the waking world as well however, and we cover a broad spectrum of dream-like experiences! Our rec room recommendation for the week is a favorite animated movie our ours that deals with the concept of the dreamworld in a beautiful and fascinating way. If you've never seen the late Satoshi Kon's masterpiece Paprika here's a trailer! Besides being just generally gorgeous, Paprika is a really cool exploration of what would happen if dream altering technology were to fall into the wrong hands. If you enjoyed this episode or want to share any feedback with us please consider reaching to us on on social media! We can be found on twitter @worldforgepod, and you can share your dream diaries with Piper @piperartC! We're also available via email at worldforgepod@gmail.com. We love to hear about all the ways you use and improve upon our ideas, and if you show us something really interesting we may just share it on air! And if you're feeling REALLY generous, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, or your podcasting app of choice! Leaving us a review is the best way to support this podcast for FREE, because it helps get our show in front of new listeners! We also want to thank James Duke for our amazing theme music, he can be found at jamesduke.info! Thanks again listeners, we'll be back again next week!
