Welcome back to another episode of World Forge! This week whatever color hat you wear, you've got a place around our campfire because we're talking about cowboys and outlaws! We go hog wild talking about all kinds of cool western tropes and how to use them to create interesting characters for just about any setting.

This is a topic that Piper and I are extremely passionate about, and we really want to help you build a cowboy that can fit into whatever game you're trying to play, whether it's a western, a scifi, or really anything else, the lone gunslinger is always a fun character archetype to squeeze into your story!

We talk about a lot of movies this time around, among them of course the classics Sergio Leone's The Good the Bad and the Ugly, and Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, but our main rec room recommendation this week is the music of Jose Gonzalez! This is an artist that holds a special place in our hearts, he's the reason Piper and I are together, and he's also a great source of cowboy inspiration! If you want some music that will put you in the mood to hop on your horse and ride on into the sunset, you could do a lot worse than Jose Gonzalez, go check him out!

As always, we had a lot of fun this week, and would love to hear your thoughts on our creations! So if you enjoyed this episode please consider leaving us a review on Apple Podcasts or Stitcher, it's a great way to support the show for free that helps promote our content and get us new listeners. We would also love to hear any feedback you have on twitter @worldforgepod or at worldforgepod@gmail.com. We would be over the moon to see any fan art, fan fiction, or fan mail you have for us. We also want to thank James Duke who composed our theme song for us, he can be found at jamesduke.info! Thanks for listening, and we'll be back next week with another exciting topic!
