Frank Gallo is a Connecticut-based lifetime birder who leads bird-watching trips throughout the world. His new book "Birding in Connecticut" includes birding hotspots in every part of the state. In each area, he provides detailed accounts of how to move through the site and even includes local bathrooms and parking lots. Descriptions of each site also link, through UR codes or hyperlinks, to pages at the ebird.org online site, which provides lists of birds and other more detailed information about the location.
