On today’s GM Report to the Listeners at 12noon- Steve di Costanzo reviews recent WPKN activities and talks with Karyn Leito, a co-founder of the Black Rock Farmer’s Market (BRFM) and the Rev. Sara Smith from the United Congregational Church & its nonprofit nOURISH BRIDGEPORT, INC. that is taking over the operational activities; we will also have Raz Branch, the executive director of the reformed Bridgeport Arts & Cultural Council and a co-founder of the group I Luv Bridgeport. He talks about the Downtown Thursdays free Concert series that starts tonight at McLevy Green in Bridgeport; Suzanne Kachmar and Ricky Mestre will discuss the Bridgeport Pride Celebration 2018 and SameSex Art Party & Variety Show; from the Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders John Torres, executive director and Frank Borres, board chair and Alberto- one of their youth leaders. If time permits we will speak with Ron Stein about the Annual Coltrane DAY in Huntington, NY and Bob Halstead about the old West End Branch Library in Bridgeport that is slated to be torn down by its owners.
