Interestingly, the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates each played a notable game Friday, opening up the second half with last-inning victories. Our hosts will discuss what to expect from each club in the second half. The MLB trade deadline is in a few weeks, but the Cubs got a head start, acquiring former Chicago White Sox starter Joe Quintana for four prospects this past week. Our hosts will explain why it's a good trade for both teams. Sammy Sosa is in the news again. Fortunately, not for something stupid he said, but for his new physical look - the second major one of his life. What has happened to slugging Sammy?
