(防疫)救命賺大錢/How $300 million overcomes (some of) the pandemic hurdles

It was never about whether the pandemic will come to Taiwan. The real question is when and how. Now that COVID-19 is in the midst of Taiwan, are we thinking beyond Uber Eats on-time performance or the magical daily disappearance of the garbage?
TUX team is reminded of Gandhi's saying, "the true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members". Here are a few ideas that TUX team hopes that you would consider:

Less than one year ago TUX uncles paid nearly NT$2,000 to mail 40 medical masks (worth $200) to friends and family outside of Taiwan. With vicissitude of time, the crucial question today may be how to get enough people vaccinated.
One inspiration is the Ohio Vax-A-Million lottery (https://bit.ly/35PC8aE), US$1 million is given away each week to people who are vaccinated. This got the TUX uncles thinking. What if Taiwan government allocates 60 minutes of its annual tax collection and makes it into a lottery?
Here is the TUX Vax-a-Million proposal:
1.) Taiwan 2019 tax collection was about NT$2,470,500,000,000
2.) Annual collection divided by 365 days and 24 hours yields NT$282,020,548
3.) For easy arithmatics, let's say a total of $300,000,000 is earmarked for vaccine lottery
4a.) Let's do a grand final prize of $100,000,000 for all vaccine takers
4b.) Before the grand prize, assume 20 vaccination tiers, winner from each group can get $10,000,000 each
5.) Do you know this is about $13 per citizen in Taiwan. As a comparison, a basic rice ball (肉鬆飯糰) at a local 7-11 store is $28
6.) Last but not least, we would announce the winner before he/she can prove vaccination. If cannot provide a proof, the winning would also be publically rescinded. (Ouch!!)
TUX hereby suggest the catchy title for the lottery as 救命賺大錢、不要當豬頭 (Make big money, and don't get caught without your shot)!
