64: Becoming the CEO of Your Life Part 1 of 5 Meet Your Protector
Manage episode 252759849 series 2530357
I am thrilled to share this series with you! This CEO of Your Life topic has been over a year and a half in the making for me. I had it before I found my empty nest niche but it took me stepping out to create this podcast and my work with clients to allow this to brew into what it is today - talk about a simmer
I will be sharing this concept with you, in small bites, over the next few months.
I expect a few things about this will change over time, as I'm finding that as I prepare the scripts, verbalize concepts, and share these concepts with clients, I develop nuances, memory tactics, and more.
So much fun!
In all honesty, it is a bit unsettling to put it out there. At the same time, had I not started the podcast, I wouldn't be here today, so this leads me to share more with you now than feels comfortable, knowing that for each level of imperfection and discomfort put out in the world, the more clarity I have in my purpose.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
In this episode, I introduce you to the idea of your protector.
🗨️ Protector is like the security guard for your house. Protector arrived in my imagery as I read through "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle and began to form as I thought through how I envisioned my Ego. So, hopefully, it will help you to understand the Ego better (although I’m not sure it is precisely the way Eckhart would see it) it resonates with me and has been resonating with my clients with whom I have shared.
