It's our first interview, and it's a good one! We talk with Amanda Lee, Field Director of The Heron's Nest Outdoor. The Heron's Nest is a Land Back project of the Duwamish Tribe in Seattle, Washington. They are restoring 3.5 acres of former industrial land to host community events, environmental and skills education, gardening, and many more things. Amanda and I talk about what it's like to do this work in a major metropolitan area and why Land Back is just as important in urban areas as in rural areas. Don't come for my audio quality on this episode. Amanda's is good and they're the important one here, so just focus on them!

To support The Heron's Nest and keep up on their amazing work, visit their website: https://www.theheronsnest.org/

We talk about Real Rent Duwamish in this episode, which you can learn about here: https://www.realrentduwamish.org/
