Top News: Lucy is celebrating her birthday and this was recognised in fine style by Roifield and a loyal fan singing "Happy Birthday". Lucy, in her monologue, noted that it was probably the first time any villager had thought to tell off Hooty Jill and then remarked once again on what a good friend Rex is to Pip - even when her unfunny drunken speech is used. It was pleasing to note that Pat has woken up not that she can afford to meet Anna Toboggan. Lucy struggles to recall Lynda's two goats Demeter and Persephone who went to Lower Loxley. Gemma, a first time caller, decided to express her views on Kate's treatment of Phoebe - so how did your exams go Gemma? Let us know please. Most of us will be surprised if Josh passes anything. Ms Alliance seems far more concerned about her neighbour in Seattle and her en-suite shower than about The Archers! Ms Alliance feels that the referendum might impact the Sterling exit plan to Italy. Andrew Horn laid into the younger characters who are replicating their forebears - Roifield also wants to know why ever more dramatic events are not being covered and are merely reported; could Keri please advise? As all the actors were there somewhere, it was just a bit like peering over a garden wall! Baldrick, sorry Roifield, has a cunning plan which will see the referendum vote over-turned by a general election and a new referendum. So it will turn out allright in the end.Lucy has been eating regularly in Hix - not done all the London ones but really liked Lyme Regis. Happy birthday to Harriet at Shambridges as well. The week ends with a rendition of 9 to 5 and Temptation starring Lucy.KosmoOn this week’s episode we have calls from Gemma who’s worried about Phoebe’s resultsGita who gives a shout outMiss Mid City who wonders how Ambridge will Brexit Andrew Horne who thinks Pip and Josh are the new David and KentonSteve who’s confusedand Witherspoon who thinks Dumteedum is our own European union
