In this episode of In Process Podcast, Trusted Counsel interviews Jonathan David Lewis, branding, strategist, and author of a 2017 new book titled “Brand vs Wild.”

Lewis explains that “psychologically, there is very little difference between a group of survivors who crash-land on a mountain, and a group of leaders in a boardroom that are trying to deal with unexpected changes. Both groups experience disruption and both can overcome it in the same way.” Disruption, whether we like it or not, is our new normal. And it’s not going away. Lewis talks to us in-depth about helping brands to navigate through the wild in what he explains is survival psychology.

During the course of the podcast, marketers and business leaders will learn about:

  • Mistakes organizations often make when paralyzed by “disruption fear”
  • The three categories people fall into when reacting with fear
  • Real business survival stories
  • What the Boy Scouts can teach you if you are lost in brand wilderness
