So after presenting radio shows from the mid 80’s on the pirates through to joining Solar Radio in the early 2000’s this is my final radio show. I really want to thank Tony Monson and Keith Renton at Solar for giving me the musical freedom to play what I want despite on occasions not always quite keeping with the station’s musical format. To my fellow presenters and everyone else involved in the station…thank you. Special thanks has to go to all of you who have stuck with me, listened, downloaded and given me feedback over the years you have kept me going and continuously digging for those slightly off centre tunes….THANK YOU ! This has not been an easy decision to make, especially stopping something you have been doing and loved for most of your life, but due to recent personal setbacks both in the business and outside I just need to step away and re-focus. My final DJ appearance will be at Shiftless Shuffle at Trapeze in Shoreditch on 21st August and before that I will be playing two nights at the wonderful Casper Bar in Budva, Montenegro 12th & 13th August if anyone fancies a road trip ?
