68. Misdeeds: Amanda Pierce (Part 1)
Manage episode 374462420 series 2987996
This episode is Part 1 of 2 Trigger Warning: Domestic Violence & Discussion of Suicide. Please listen with care.
In May of 2015, a 911 call was made from a home in Sherman, Texas. 32-year-old Amanda Pierce had attempted to die by suicide - or had she?
Amanda was a victim of domestic violence, by her boyfriend who repeatedly threatened that if she tried to leave, he’d kill her. On the day she packed her things, police and rescue would arrive at her home to try and resuscitate her.
Amanda’s sister, Kimberly Mullens, joins me on this episode as she bravely fights Grayson County, TX to get justice.
