On today’s show, we’re chatting with Michelle, the owner of Salassan, a curated vintage clothing business. Michelle was raised in the suburbs of Paris, and then studied pattern cutting and fashion design in London. We chat about her experience working in the fashion industry and all the market vintage research she did during that time.

In 2020, she started selling upcycled bags made from tablecloths at the Hester Street Fair, but when she found out her curated vintage was really popular and taking off, she leaned into that love that has long been with her.

Michelle has a couple of solid vintage specialities, but one is undoubtedly fantastic leather jackets, and she shares with us what makes a dreamy leather jacket – and so much more! – on today’s show. I think you’re going to really enjoy it, so let’s dive right into it!
