A Deeper Dive into The Best of Echoes 2017
We depart from our usual interviews in the Podcast to highlight several albums from The Best of Echoes 2017. . . So Far. We took a hard look at some of our favorite albums of the year in its first 6 months. I wasn’t easy. We’ve already had some great CDs come out, several of them in just the last two weeks. This past Monday I counted down the top 25 CDs. You can catch that show at Echoes Online. But today in the podcast, I take a deeper dive into eight of the 25 albums selected. I look a little closer at albums by Cigarettes After Sex, Nym, Quaschning & Schnauss, George Winston, Bluetech, Yaima, Johan Agebjörn and Mikael Ögren and our number one album, and July CD of the Month, London Grammar’s Truth Is a Beautiful Thing. Hear all about them in the Echoes Podcast.
