This week’s episode is about how to take your Project Weight Loss with you when you travel. I give you three vital strategies to have the success you seek during a vacation or during a business travel.
The first strategy is to start off with a commitment to be intentional, whether that is to lose, maintain or gain a little.
So for me how it has worked is if I use the majority of these tools, I can see anywhere from a 2 pound loss to five pounds in your 2-3 week vacation. If you just use 2-3 tools you are likely to maintain, if you use at least one of these tools you may gain weight, but it will be in a normal range of around 1 pound and if you don’t use any and eat and drink without inhibition, well you are likely to gain anywhere from 2-5 pounds.
I offer - have flexible tools for your plan that you can use. Choose a few and think the thought, I will be committed but flexible with how I stay on my plan.
We don’t change the GPS to reach our destination, the main goal; we can vary the tools being flexible with the how. And in the end, if you use a handful of the tools I share in this episode you will see a loss on your travel.
And the last strategy is to give yourself grace and if you have grace to spare which you likely will, offer others grace too.
