If you have ever second-guessed your relationship...
Remember, it’s totally fine.
It does not make you a bad person only because you are unsure whether or not you are a good fit.
This just proves that your relationship is important to you and that you want the best for the both of you.
There is this thing called the “selective focus” it’s basically the confirmation bias (we don’t see the world as it is, but as we want it to be) tainting the way you view your relationship and how you feel about it.
In a bad mood, you second guess it.
In a good mood, you are excited about it.
This even translates to the extend of how you feel about your memories with your partner.
There is this saying we have in psychology: Every recall is a reframe.
Every time you recall a memory, your are going to feel different about it depending on the emotion you are feeling at the time of recall.
Crazy right?
This is why it is so important to be aware of your emotions and to not take your thoughts and emotions seriously.
