It's the end of the road for Dennis DeYoung. The former Styx frontman is releasing his final studio album "26 East:Volume 2" June 11th and called into the big show to talk about it!

"It's me waving goodbye to all the fans, thanking them" Dennis explains to why he split the album into two volumes. Although this is his last album, Dennis tells Scott & Patty "i'm not saying i won't record a song once in a while, but no more albums for me Scott, that's it."

Dennis knows the old way of doing things is over, and agrees with Billy Joel retiring from making albums a long time ago.

"The music business the way it's structured now" Dennis says, "people don't care about albums the way they used to it's fruitless to try and make a bunch of them."

So why did he make a farewell album?

"Making albums is a little bit of a, it's like climbing up a hill that's just too damn high" he admits. "But i did it, i'm pleased with it, it's coming out and people then can go 'yea we love this guy' or they can go... 'Billie Eilish is available!'"
