Contour Crafting is a layered fabrication technology which aims to build houses efficiently. This episode features an interview with the process creator Dr. Behrokh Khoshnevis of the University of Southern California. Berokh steps off the edge with me to discuss the state of construction technology today versus the mechanized world of manufacturing, the advantages and prospects for it as well as the environmental and cost challenges with traditional build techniques. There's also lots of great music this month including some from the Strike The Root remix project with Lawrence Lessig and the CCMixter.org community.
